Three on-demand piezo printheads support resolutions up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi. Variable droplets start at 5 pl, while waveform control and MAPS help produce smooth gradients and reduce banding.
Color + white draft mode reaches 35 m²/hour (376.7 ft²/hour) at 300 × 300 HQ, 4 passes. High-speed mode reaches 25 m²/hour (269.1 ft²/hour) at 300 × 450 HQ, 6 passes. Figures exclude media setup and printer operation before or after printing.
Layered ink creates raised lettering, woodgrain-style textures, and dimensional artwork. Clear ink can add gloss effects. Available finishes depend on the ink set, artwork, media, and print settings.
Two vacuum zones and a foot switch help hold media in place while keeping hands free for loading. Gap pins measure media thickness; left and right media-jam sensors help protect the printheads.
Mimaki USA lists LH-100, LUS-120, LUS-150, LUS-211, LUS-350, and PR-200 primer. CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white, clear, and primer availability varies by ink set. PR-200 is not compatible with LUS-211 or LUS-350. Confirm the configuration with IDS.
Mimaki Circulation Technology circulates white ink to reduce pigment settling. The printer accepts 1-liter bottles; 250 ml bottles are supported for LH-100, LUS-120, and PR-200. Initial ink filling requires 1-liter bottles.
USB 2.0 and Ethernet support the print workflow. RasterLink7 is listed in the current Mimaki USA specifications. MDL commands support integration with external automation equipment; system integration is application dependent.
